What Kamp is

Kamp is a planning tool for families. You can browse local camps, classes, and activities, build plans for your kids, read and write reviews, and get alerts when registration opens. Providers can also submit and manage their own program listings. Kamp is for parents, legal guardians, and activity providers. Children do not create accounts or use the platform.

Your account

You need an account to use the Planner, write reviews, or set alerts. You sign in with your email and password. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Program listings and data accuracy

Program information on Kamp comes from publicly available provider websites, search engines, mapping services, and from providers who submit their own listings directly. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we are not the provider. Dates, prices, availability, and program details can change without notice on the provider’s end.

Always confirm details directly with the provider before registering or paying. Kamp is a planning tool, not a registration system. We do not process registrations, accept payments for programs, or guarantee availability.

We are not responsible for errors in program data, changes made by providers after our last verification, or any decisions you make based on information found on Kamp.

User-generated content

Parents can submit reviews, and providers can submit program descriptions, photos, and other listing content. By submitting any content to Kamp, you agree that:

• Your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have the right to submit it (it’s yours, or you have permission)
• You will not include any child’s full name (yours or anyone else’s)
• You will not include personal attacks, threats, or defamatory statements
• You will not include content that is illegal, harmful, spam, or promotional for unrelated services

For reviews specifically: your review must reflect your honest experience, and you or your child must have attended the program you’re reviewing.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules or our Reviews Moderation Rulebook. Our moderation decisions are final.

You retain ownership of your content, but by posting it you grant Kamp a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on and through the Kamp platform.

User conduct

Don’t do any of the following:

• Use Kamp for any purpose other than family activity planning
• Create fake accounts or impersonate another person
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from Kamp without our written permission
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data
• Interfere with the operation of the service
• Use Kamp to collect information about other users
• Post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates someone else’s rights

We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms.

Intellectual property

Kamp’s name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Kamp LLC. Camp data displayed on the platform is attributed to its source providers.

You own the content you create (plans, reviews, provider listings). We don’t claim ownership of your stuff. The license you grant us for user-generated content (above) is limited to operating the platform.

Shared plans

The Planner lets you generate a shareable link to a read-only view of your plan. Anyone with the link can see it. Shared plans display first names only — no email addresses or contact information. You’re responsible for who you share the link with.

Third-party links

Program listings link to provider websites for registration. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.

Availability and changes

Kamp is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or that every feature will work perfectly at all times. We’re a small team building something new.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we make changes that materially affect your use of Kamp, we’ll give you reasonable notice via email.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kamp LLC, its members, and its service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Kamp. This includes (but is not limited to) inaccurate program data, missed registration windows, scheduling conflicts, or reliance on reviews.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Since Kamp is currently free, that amount is zero.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Kamp LLC against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these terms, your submitted content, or your misuse of the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@mybasekamp.com. We’ll remove your data per our Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.

Dispute resolution

If we have a dispute, let’s try to resolve it by email first (hello@mybasekamp.com). If that doesn’t work, any legal action will be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and brought in the courts of Deschutes County, Oregon.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll email you and update the date at the top. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
